Entry #2 What do you believe in?
'What do you believe in?'
Such a vague question, isn't it? I hated that question. I always have. I think it's because it's so unclear. Like what do you mean? In what context? I believe that murder is wrong and that bananas are the worst fruit, but that's probably not what they were asking. I believe that stealing is bad, and that people should brush their teeth. But, everyone believed in those things, didn't they? I mean, I have weirder beliefs too, like I wholeheartedly believe that the producers of 'Love Is Blind' should be investigated for a violation of ethics. Oh, and I think, I mean I believe, that bacon is actually gross, and somehow the entire US got swept up into some type of insane bacon-mania. I believe that you don't need a college degree to get ahead, and that allergies are a sign of weakness. I believe that wild animals have the right to attack humans if it's within their own environment, and I believe that people who claim to be "nice", or kind", or "fun to be around" are probably just delusional, because that's really not even up to them to decide. There are lots of things you could believe in, and people believe in lots of things. So what exactly are you asking me?I understand that when people ask about beliefs, they're most likely referring to religion. They want to know what you think about God, Jesus, Buddha, the Virgin Mary, things like that. Sometimes they're asking about your values too, things like trust and honesty and whatnot. Honestly, I really don't know what I believe in. I know I believe in magic, but that's mostly because of the 'Why Not' stance I seem to take on most controversial topics. I never understood why people viewed magic as such a far-fetched belief though, like what's more believable; a horse with a horn (unicorn), or a leapord-moose-camel with a 40 foot neck (giraffe)? Exactly. I rest my case.
Oh, I believe in aliens too, 100%. I actually think it's insane that everyone doesn't. Like, why would their only be intelligent life forms on one planet? Be for real. I just feel like there's so much evidence! "wHat eViDenCe? i'Ve nEvEr sEeN oNe! wHeRe ArE ThEy??" dude. Have you ever seen an elephant paint? They are right in front of us! Parrots can literally talk and no one cares. Birds brains are not supposed to be big enough for cognitive speech, yet parrots can form full sentences??? Oh, and please don't get me started on Chameleons - like what do you mean you can just change the color of your skin at any given point in time? And have any of you ever seen the way an octopus moves? Insane.
All these creatures are perfectly accepted into society, but Phoenix's, Dragons, and Aliens are apparently just impossible? Yeah, okay.
